Symptom: My G-200 is equipped with Yaw Master rudder/brake pedals (photo 1). When applying the left brake I felt a clunk and one side of the pedal moved forward about 1/2". Although the brake effectiveness was significantly reduced, it was sufficient for taxiing.
I'm looking at perhaps buying Wendell Solesbee's Giles 202 and am doing a little research.
Does anyone have any info on ADs or service bulletins for the 202 that we should be looking for in the logs?
Does anyone know of anyone in the L.A. area with enough experience to inspect the aircraft for me?
If you have a few minutes, I'd love to speak with you about your impressions of the Giles 202. Just email me your number or give me a call at 605-929-3943.
Please can anyone send build info, pictures recomended mods, or anything that can help me complete my project. In particular canopy attachment points, jettison, latching points as there have been a few canopy detachments. Email gbjumping@gmail.com. Regards Garry Bean
